Tulsa Regional Stem Alliance
TRSA has a mission of building broad, deep and innovative STEM pathways for all students to access high-impact careers and a vision of using diverse STEM talent to fuel a more globally competitive northeastern Oklahoma.
AHEC
The Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Program includes inter-professional training in community-based settings to diverse cohorts of students enrolled in various health professions training programs. The anticipated impacts of the project are to increase the diversity and cultural competency of the primary care workforce, improve workforce distribution in rural and underserved areas of Oklahoma, and develop a high-functioning workforce that can thrive in and adapt to new modes of care delivery.
Center for Rural Health
The OSU Center for Rural Health funds programs aimed at providing Oklahoma’s rural practitioners, hospitals and clinics the support necessary to ensure access to quality health care for Oklahoma’s rural residents. Many of these services are free and provide important information not readily available to most rural communities.
Project ECHO
Use this link to find information on the OSU program known as Project ECHO. It provides opportunities for superintendents, principals and others in position of leadership, especially for schools in rural areas of the state, to share best practices, receive ongoing and timely professional development and collaborate to help resolve complex issues and questions regarding Oklahoma schools and its students.
