Doctorate of Health Care Administration (DHA), Online
Get a Doctorate of Health Care Administration Online Through OSU
The discipline of healthcare administration has witnessed considerable change over
the past decade with a continuing demand for well-trained administrators, supervisors,
and managers. Research efforts in healthcare administration have identified the need
for administrators who have a high degree of technical competence coupled with leadership
and emotional intelligence skills. The expansion of the healthcare sector has created
an urgency for a pool of more highly educated, non-research-oriented professionals
who not only understand the business and economics of healthcare, but are also prepared
to deal with the leadership challenges this highly labor intensive discipline presents.
This professional degree program has been designed to accommodate the busy schedules
of working professionals, and as such is delivered completely online & the majority
of courses will be completely asynchronous.
As a professional degree, there is no dissertation requirement.
