Every Tuesday from 12:00 pm - 1 pm CST. To join this ECHO session registration is a one-time requirement. Once registered, you will receive an ECHO participant guide with more information.
What does the Pediatric Behavioral Emotional Health ECHO Program Offer?
- Increase knowledge of evidence-based practices in pediatric and behavioral mental health.
- Collaboration, support and ongoing learning with specialist and other clinicians,
including but not limited to:
- Infant Mental Health
- Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Neuropsychology
- School Psychology
- Clinical Psychology
- Focus on prevention, diagnosis and treatment
- Real-time clinical review of cases and program questions submitted by participants.
- Free CME for health care professionals *certain conditions apply
Why Pediatric Behavioral and Emotional Health?
- Early experiences lay the foundation of health development and provide opportunities for prevention, early detection and treatment.
- 21% of children and adolescents in the U.S. meet diagnostic criteria for a mental health disorder with impaired functioning.
- In Oklahoma, the 2nd leading cause of death for children ages for children ages 11-18 is suicide.
- 75-80 % of children and youth in need of mental health services do not receive them.
